Installing alarms can be hard work, even after all the wiring has been done; you have to program the panel to get it work properly, Our alarm help service can help.
Secure I AM can help get your system up and running, prices starting from £75 for a site visit depending on location and less if it can be done over the phone or remotely on your pc, terms and conditions apply.
The basics we need to know is the panel you have and the issue you are experiencing, we may ask for further details, the Whatsapp link on our website allows you to contact us and send images. WhatsApp Video calls should be by appointment only.
You must advise if you have the engineers code for the system, without this it is impossible to do any programming and the options are limited to wiring only.
We can advise on how to wire the system togetherYou will always find wiring easier if you use the same manufacturers equipment throughout. On hardwired Intruder alarm systems the panel and keypad have to be compatible, this will be Manufacturer and Model Specific.
For example Texecom Veritas LED keypad will work on all Veritas panels but not on a Premier/Premier Elite Panel
A Texecom Veritas LCD keypad will only work on Veritas R8+ and Excel Panels and not the Veritas 8C, Veritas 8 or Veritas R8 or on Texecoms Premier/ Premnier Elite panels.
When requesting a consultation we will need to know as much information about the panel as possible.The more specific the information supplied, the quicker it will be to asses the options available.
What is connected to the panel, keypads, detectors, communication devices and bell box's?
Include the Make and model; this should be on your invoice from your supplier.You can send images if you dont have this
Tell us how far you have got, and what you are struggling with.
How you would like the system to work (any features you want to utilise).
After the system is rectified and tested, we will take you through a demonstration of using the alarm, so that you are 100% satisfied that it's a job well done.
Additional equipment will be chargeable
We are not responsible for any part of the system that was not purchased from us and no warranty will be applied to parts not supplied via Secure I AM. The help we offer is to get your system up and running only. Many alarm installers may advise the system would have to be replaced completely.
All this information up front can save time, as we can access manuals before we arrive if we are not familiar with a particular component of the system and we can advise you if the equipment is unlikely to work before we even start.
